The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for daily operations to the Vice President Chief Nursing Officer for Reading Hospital. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: calendar maintenance, document preparation, scheduling and organizing meetings, taking minutes, filing, taking and managing phone messages. Other responsibilities include light excel or spreadsheet work, assistance with maintenance of email, preparation of memos and other written documents, etc. In addition, this position may be required to provide other administrative support for Nursing Directors.

Position Requirements

High school graduate with prior experience providing secretarial support to others. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to multi task in a high sense of urgency environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to anticipate and address administrative needs. Experience working with and maintaining confidential information and data. Experience collaborating with others to complete tasks/assignments. Strong attention to detail, organized, professional and diplomatic.

Prefer experience providing administrative support to Sr. Leadership.
