The Administrative Director provides administrative leadership to hospital-based physician coverage programs thru physician/administrator leadership. Focus is on the strategic development and implementation of programs and initiatives designed to support the achievement of organizational goals and mission. The Administrative Director provides operational leadership in the planning, directing and administration of the Medical Group coverage programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementation of departmental processes, standard operating procedures, identification of process management improvements and related efficiencies, implementation of performance improvement plans as appropriate, human resources management and financial oversight for all departments reporting to the Administrative Director. Promotes and monitors regulatory agency standards and customer service expectations.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field (Required)

Master's degree (Preferred)

CPT knowledge and ICD-10 CM coding knowledge.

Electronic Medical Record knowledge.

Experience operations management, with at least three years’ experience in health care practice management and operations with accountability for results.

Current knowledge of Human Resources regulations.

Experience to prioritizing and multi-tasking in a high sense urgency environment.

Experience managing physician hospital-based coverage programs.

Excellent Communication Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook, Ability to manage budgets, Ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple priorities required ability to work across a variety of projects and with diverse constituencies. Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment, Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with physicians, and non-physicians providers, internal health system departments and community members
