Division Reading Hospital
Description Performs electrical safety testing, performance testing, preventative maintenance , pre-acceptances
inspections, and repairs Patient Care Equipment at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center and associated
facilities. Performs staff instruction as needed. Performs other duties, as needed, to support the Facilities
Management Department.
Position Requirements * 2 year / Associate Degree: Related Technical Degree (Required)
**Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
*High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Vocational / Technical Degree: Related Technical Degree (Preferred)
Certification and Licensure Requirements
ICC BIOMED EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION (Preferred)

*0-1 Year Biomedical Equipment Techncian, Military Electronics, or Electronic Technician, or similar hands on
experience. (Required)
Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
