Description

Under the Direction of the Sr. Director, Treasury Services the Cash Manager will handle ongoing and integration related cash management operations, overseeing bank account administration, reviewing and implementing improvement in cash management and forecasting and accounting, as well as support and or lead projects related to Cash Management. Position also will support management and accounting of investments and debt portfolios.
More specifically the Cash Manager will:
• Prepare daily cash positioning for multiple accounts at multiple banks
• Assist with formation of corporate treasury structure and integration of multiple new hospitals and accounts into the structure
• Develop, support and maintain a robust cash flow forecasting process and the potential for the evaluation and implementation of a cash flow system.
• Coordination, Integration, audit and maintenance of multiple credit card merchant accounts utilized throughout system as well as setting up new accounts when appropriate.
• Process daily wires and ACHs for multiple bank structure of operating expenses, payroll and debt service payments
• Support of the accounts payable function to ensure timely and efficient operation of accounts payable payments
• Distribution of weekly cash flash to fiscal leadership
• Support accounting closing process related to all interest accruals and payments
• Monitor, forecast and execute appropriate monthly interest and swap payments
• Identify opportunities to streamline and consolidate the bank account structure, prepare a proposal and project plan to present to Treasury/Fiscal Leadership
• Support annual audit process related to schedules and foot notes.
• Construct interest rate swap analysis for each monthly close process to highlight valuation changes in system swap portfolio.
• Support quarterly and annual EMMA Filing by reviewing data submitted for filing for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budget to include interest expense, cash sources and uses, non- operating income.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Cash management experience

  • CTM, MBA or CFA preferred

  • Experience managing and forecasting cash sources and uses for a multi-facility bank and entity level

  • Experience working in a fast paced change environment

  • Experience evaluating and implementing process changes

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze & present data in a clear and concise format

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with people at all levels of the organization as well as with external banking vendors/relationships

  • Strong Excel Skills

  • Experience with managing band and public debt portfolios, structures forecasting and administration

  • Knowledge and experience with administration and analysis if various type of investment asset classes - equities, fixed income, alternatives
