Collection Technician Occupational Health

The Technician serves in an on-call capacity and responds in a timely manner to pages via hospital provided pagers from Emergency Department and or Urgent Care Center during scheduled times when Occupational Health Services is closed. Coverage of the on-call schedule includes 2nd and 3rd shifts weekdays; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts on weekends and holidays. Employee must report to Emergency Department or Muhlenberg Urgent Care during scheduled time within 20-30 minutes of page to conduct appropriate substance abuse testing for employers.

Position Requirements

H.S. Diploma/GED required. Previous experience in collecting specimens and conducting testing for forensic substance abuse testing preferred.
