Cytotechnologist- Full Time- Day shift

The Cytotechnologist is responsible for processing specimens according to established procedures; examining and interpreting gynecological, non-gynecological and fine needle aspiration specimens; performing quality control and quality assurance; understanding test methodology; and ensuring the accuracy, acceptability and confidentiality of test results. The Cytotechnologist works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.

Position Requirements Graduate of a CAHEA accredited school of Cytotechnology with a Baccalaureate Degree in Cytotechnology or a related science. Non-traditional routes to establish skill level may be accepted after a review of education and experience. Minimum of 1 year training in a CAHEA accredited school or equivalent. Certified or eligible for certification in Cytotechnology by a certifying agency approved by Cr training in a CAHEA accredited school or equivalent. Certified or eligible for certification in Cytotechnology by a certifying agency approved by CMS.

Special Notes Day Shift: 0700-1530 but can be flexible -- no weekends or holidays!
