The Help Desk Coordinator provides users guidance and first level support by assisting in problem resolution. The Coordinator acts as the key contact for onsite and remote users for terminal and production problems and inquires. This position requies an ability to handle and triage first level support calls. You will have an opportunity to learn to support a variety of technologies. May include teaching responsibilities. Provides onsite/on the floor hardware and technical support and problem resolution. Requires familiarity with IP infrastructure. Using network monitoring tools and established procedures, continually monitors designed network and system monitoring devices, reporting any problems to the responsible groups. Assists in Data Center monitoring, completing operational logs and Data Center support when required.

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills

  • 1-3 Years Customer Service related field (Required). Experience in a help desk or similar position is strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 Years Related Information Technology field (Required)
  • Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook,PowerPoint, Publisher, Word), Multi-line telephone operational skills, Typing, Strong customer service skills, Decision making ability, Issue resolution ability, Teaching and training ability
  • Experience with Epic or Office 365 is a plus.

Education Requirements
*Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 year / Associate Degree: Information Technology related field (Preferred)
  • Non Degree Program: Information Technology related field (Preferred)
  • Vocational / Technical Degree: Information Technology related field (Preferred)

Certification and Licensure Requirements

  • MS Office Specialist (MOS) Certification (Preferred)
