The Day-to-Day

In this position, you will become part of Tower Health's Financial IT Application Team that supports the Infor Lawson suites for Financial Management, Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Intelligence (technical & functional) areas of our enterprise.

Your contributions will include:

  • Implementing, developing, reporting, and maintaining the system along with interfacing with other applications.
  • Obtaining an in-depth knowledge of the application, other applications supported, and a detailed understanding of the integration to other applications.
  • Working with users to analyze needs and provide support and enhancement of software.
  • Demonstrating critical thinking and follow through.
  • Providing on call support on a rotating schedule based upon application needs.
Position Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of Infor Lawson experience required, including experience with Third Party Applications – Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Kronos, Bottomline, Ceridian, Document Management, GHX, HealthTrust, and BSI Tax Factory
  • 5+ years of experience with Infor Lawson Supply Chain preferred with a working knowledge of Lawson technologies, environments and experience with upgrades, maintenance, development, reporting, and interfacing to non-Infor applications.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and business intelligence knowledge related to several of the following areas:
    • Business Intelligence - Interfacing, Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI), ION, Crystal Reporting, and Microsoft (Management Studio, Visual Studio, Data Tools, SQL, SSIS, & SSRS)
    • Infor Lawson System Foundation (LSF) - Utilities, Security, and Process flow
    • Infor Landmark Technology, Infor Security Services, Infor Process Automation (IPA), Rich Client Configuration Console
    • Financial Management Suite – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management
    • Human Capital Management Suite – Talent Management (LTM), Employee Self-Service, Manager Space, Human Resources, and Payroll
    • Supply Chain Management Suite - Mobile Supply Chain Management (MSCM), Requisition Center, and EDI
  • Established skills of workflow analysis and system troubleshooting with an eagerness to learn, support, and tenaciously troubleshoot supported technologies. Proven ability to methodically approach issues, resourcefully research and troubleshoot issues, and creatively solve problems.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and a track record of effectively communicating with users and IT management in a professional manner through verbal and written communication. The successful candidate must be customer focused and service oriented. Collaboration with IT staff and end user personnel is key for this position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
