The Inventory Supervisor functions in a leadership role in Supply Chain Management to ensure best practices and guides team member development. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities related to maintaining stock at optimum levels preventing under-or-over investment while assuring adequate product is available for patient care. The Inventory Supervisor utilizes data provided by the Logistics team such as usage projections and vendor delivery times to establish and streamline an optimal ordering and delivery system. This positions assures the appropriate procedures surrounding the management of supplies are followed to include but not limited to par items, inventory procurement, delivery, storage and returns. This individual places an emphasis on patient care with the patient as the highest priority in all endeavors and undertakings of the individual and the department.

Position Requirements

BS in a Related Field of Study is preferred.

Experience in a fast-paced environment is required, with demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage and mentor par and distribution team members 5. A strong background in healthcare, Supply Chain, Inventory or Clinical background is preferred.

Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.

Must possess and demonstrate high integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Vlookup and Pivot Tables), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access and willingness to learn new applications is required.
