Maintenance Technician II - Full Time - 11:00pm-7:30am

The Maintenance Technician II operates, maintains and repairs stationary steam, chilled water and cogeneration plant consisting of fire tube boilers, electric centrifugal chillers, steam turbine centrifugal chillers, HVAC equipment and associated physical plant equipment and controls. The Equipment Technician is capable of performing the duties of the Zone Technician and can cover assigned zones when required. Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Position Requirements *High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Vocational / Technical Degree: Maintenance, mechanical, or other trade program (Preferred)
*Boiler License (Required)
*New boiler license plus 4,160 boiler plant hours (Required)
5+ years boiler operation experience in lieu of license
*3 years commercial / industrial / institutional facilities operational experience (Required)
1 Year of facilities maintenance in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
NFPA 101 or 99 training preferred or general knowledge of health care regulatory (Preferred)
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, CMMS competency
REQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent Communication Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills
