Description

The unit support coordinator provide guests information, as well as, support the efforts of the unit staff. The unit support coordinator performs designated duties under the supervision of a professional nurse in addition to handling clerical and specific administrative tasks for the nursing unit. This includes assembling patient records, answering phones and patient calls. Other duties include ordering and ensuring delivery of supplies, timekeeping via Kronos, welcome of new patients and families to the unit, introduction to Get Well Network, and other related functions as needed.

· Certification and Licensure Requirements

· *BLS CERTIFICATION (Required)

Experience and Skills

· *6 months – 1 year of working experience in similar role (Required)

· 1-3 Years Spanish speaking (Preferred)

· Required Skills: Demonstrates excellent customer service and listening skills, ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, ability to follow oral and written directions, ability to maintain effective working relationships with others, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, Word), Acts in a professional manner at all times.
