Description Tower Health is seeking aBC Osteopathic Family Medicine physicianto join ourFamily Medicine Facultyand become part of our well-established and well-respected Family Residency Program atReading Hospital. The position will provide teaching and support for our Family Medicine Residents. We are seeking a physician with previous experience for inpatient and ambulatory patient care, as you will rotate inpatient rounds and provide clinical care of your own private outpatients approximately 3-4 sessions per week.

Our Family Medicine Residency Program was established in 1972 and has recently expanded from 18 to 24 residents. Our clinical site sees a diverse patient population, with over 14,000 visits annually. We are a NCQA recognized Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home. Our program fosters a collegial, supportive environment conducive to learning and professional growth.

Reading Hospitalis a 600+-bed, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral center. We are a fully-accredited ACGME Family Medicine Residency and also are a dually accredited Family Medicine Osteopathic Residency.

Our facility, in scenic Berks County, consists of a 22-building complex located on a 36-acre suburban campus in West Reading, PA, serving a population of over 400,000. Reading Hospital perennially ranks among the top four Pennsylvania hospitals inpatient admissions, surgical procedures, outpatient service emergency care volume (133,000/year), outpatient services and more than 3,500 births annually.
