POSITION SUMMARY: The Practice Manager is responsible for tasks related to the operations of the assigned practice sites. These duties include overseeing personnel, practice operations, billing, patient physician scheduling and budget development. The Practice Manager directly oversees that policy and procedures are implemented promptly and efficiently, and ensure that the practice exhibits a positive image to the public. The Practice Manager works collaboratively with respective Billing Supervisor to address Revenue Cycle Management issues for assigned practices. Makes frequent visits to practice sites. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Human Resource Function 40% o Routinely spends time at clinical sites under his/her responsibility o Coordinates supervision of the staff of the assigned medical practice sites. o Assists the Director of Human Resources with hands on Human Resource functions such as recruitment and selection. o Monitors staff performance and reports back through performance evaluation. o Maintains the appropriate documentation of staff performance. o Monitors payroll performance of assigned practices. o Monitors personnel records, including sick leave, vacation, health insurance records etc. of assigned practices. o Alerts staff of new policy and procedures. o Assists in training and education of new staff. 2. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Function 30% o Monitors, pays and documents the medical practices invoices. o Maintains copies of all purchase requests and invoices. o Reviews daily reconciliation of charges, payments and adjustments. o Reconciles medical practice expense account. o Generates monthly and annual financial reports. o Facilitates resolution of third party reimbursement issues with Clinic Site Office Staff and Central Billing Office Staff, as needed. 3. Client Service and Operations Function 30% o Builds strong client relationships and oversees client service in the clinic. o Handles patient complaints and concerns. o Treats all patients with respect, dignity, compassion and concern. o Maintains client confidentiality. o Ensures assigned clinics are operating efficiently and smoothly. o Manages inventory levels in clinics. o Oversees operations of assigned clinics. o Implements OHSA standards. 4. Performs other related duties deemed necessary by the Director of Clinical Operations.

Position Requirements Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years managing physician practices.
- Maintains current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification (CPR).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Current knowledge of Human Resource regulations.
- CPT and ICD- 9 CM Coding knowledge.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills are essential.
- Focus on patient satisfaction excellence.
- Word processing and Spreadsheet skills.

Physical Demands:
- Individuals must be able to meet established specific physical requirements of the job including sitting at a desk, reaching, lifting, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, standing and walking.

Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment.
