Description

Quality Project Coordinator contributes to the development and implementation of quality and operational

strategies, policies and practices. Quality Project Coordinator cooperates and works with the VP,

Ambulatory Clinical Quality, leadership and management teams. Quality Project Coordinator contributes and

is accountable for improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of quality, through the

provision of effective methods and strategies. Quality Project Coordinator will contribute to the planning,

implementation, and tracking of specific quality projects. Quality Project Coordinator participates in planning

and development of effective strategies for the quality and patient safety of ambulatory practices. Contributes

to the improving process and polices in support of quality goals. Formulates, develops departmental and

organizational policies and procedures. Actively involved with review of quality reports and data. Utilizes

quality data to improve efficiency. Monitors, coordinates and works collaboratively to improve efficiency of

support services such as Operations, IT, HR, Accounts Payable, and Finance. Quality Project Coordinator will

possess good analytic skills with the ability to identify meaningful trends and targets for improvement. Quality

Project Coordinator will assist in driving initiatives, working with the management team, contribute to longterm

quality excellence. Working with leadership & management team, the position contributes to the

development and implementation of quality strategies, policies and practices.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or additional secondary education coursework is preferred. Proficiency in EPIC or Electronic Medical Health Records Systems. Ability to work independently, speak clearly and concisely with good telephone etiquette. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in a medical office setting required. Knowledge of medical terminology and skilled in performing basic clinical and administrative procedures. Excellent organizational and computer skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Vizio.(Required)
