The Director Central Staffing Office/Float Pool provides direction, and clinical support to assure the delivery of safe quality patient care through the efficient and effective utilization of both human and material resources.

Has oversight of the House Supervisors, Float Pool, Staffing Office, Transfer Center/Patient Placement and Central Monitoring. in the coordination and facilitation of patient care and hospital operations. Functions as administrative resource for hospital operations in the absence of Administration.

Reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Position Requirements

Education Requirements:

4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's in Nursing or Non-Bachelor’s degree with an MSN or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (Required)

Master's Degree: Masters in Nursing, Business or Healthcare (Required)

Certification and Licensure Requirements

BLS Certification (Required)

Certification in management (Required)

PA Registered Nurse License (Required)

Experience and Skills

2-3 Years Acute care experience. (Required)

3-4 Years Leadership experience in a manager role (Required)
